About me:
The things in life that motivate and energize me are adventure, creativity and being outdoors. These 3 things show up in almost everything I do.
First off, in my career- I have been working as a lighting and compositing artist in Vancouver for more than eleven years. While this job does keep me inside the office, it gives me a great creative outlet. I’ve worked on both live-action and animated feature films and TV series, at studios such as Sony Imageworks, Mainframe Entertainment, FuseFX, and Zoic Studios among others.
Working on contract in the visual effects industry also allows me to take time between projects to peruse these passions in other areas, especially with photography and travel. I’ve been very lucky over the last few years to travel to many different countries, capturing the natural beauty wherever I go. I’ve used these photos to create jewelry, wood prints and other handmade crafts.
In spite of all the places that I have traveled, I’m always drawn back to the amazing nature in British Columbia.
